Tonight I was stumped again by my 5 year old...
Cameron, "We had to come home from our bike ride with mommy because of the lightning."
Me, "I love lightning"
Cameron, "Why?"
Me, "Because it shows God's power."
Cameron, "Then why does it kill people?"
Me, "Hmmm."
Being a pastor, you'd think I'd have a better answer for my five year old. But I don't.

apparently the God of Christianity doesn't kill people anymore. (???)
Isaiah 45:7 - I make peace and create evil (calamity). I YAHWEH do all these things.
Amos 3:6 - Shall a trumpet be blown in the city, and the people not be afraid? shall there be evil in a city, and YAHWEH hath not done it?f
