Great reminder

I love the Puritans for reminding me...

"The true ambassador for Christ feels that he himself stands before God and has to deal with souls in Gods' stead as God's servant, and stands in a solemn place; a place in which unfaithfulness is inhumanity to man as well as treason to God."
- C.H. Spurgeon, considered to be the last of the Puritans

"I preach as never sure to preach again, and as a dying man to dying men."
- Richard Baxter, 17th century Puritan

Mark- Thanks for leading us in musical worship tonight...thank you for contributing your passion for God's glory among all peoples through celebration of our great God!

I just bought Valley of Vision and have skimmed and read a few prayers/devotions. This was inspired by your encouragement to read it and its influence on your prayer and meditation with the Father. Looking forward to digging deeper in it.

Anyway, thanks for your encouragement, leadership and contributions!

Jason, bro thanks for the comment. I do love that book. I need to be more consistent in it. But it's an amazing devotional guide. Let me know what prayers you like from it.
