Okay, lots of the same movies are on our list. But, I gotta say Crash, we just didn't get it or like it and thought it was a horrible movie? Did we miss something?

Ed-
Just what I feared by a moment of honestly...losing my manhood! But somehow in my twisted optimisic mind, I think it makes me more of a man.

Mandy-
One other movie that I loved, based on your suggestion, was "that thing you do." It should've made my list, but I forgot about it at the time of writing it.

Shannon-
Crash is an incredibly disturbing movie. I liked it, not so much for its entertainment value, but for what it did to my soul. I walked away from that movie, thinking, "I am part of the problem. I need God to change my heart when it comes to subtle stereotyping and racism that creeps in". I also chose to skip some scenes that I had heard about ahead of time...

Hopefully somewhere in there (maybe 50 or 51) you would list Lord of the Rings, Xmen, Narnia..just a thought. Or maybe you need to borrow them and watch them again. Just let me know.
ps All of my "if I could only watch 3 movies for the rest of my life" movies made your list.
Sweet Home Alabama, Band of Brothers, We were soldiers.

I'll add favorites that I forgot about as people comment on ones they liked and as I recall them...

16. Walk the line
17. That thing you do (props to Mandy for telling me I had to see this...I did love it)
18. Kite Runner (ed, sorry, i can't put the others on, and (gasp...) I've never seen Outlaw of J Wales)

Also, Wendy, I've never seen Xmen, but I'll have to watch it. I was not a huge fan of Narnia- I enjoyed them, but I didn't love them. I know Lord of the Rings is epic, but for some reason I just can't put it on my list of favorites. It's like a favorite music list without Mozart...you know it should be on your list b/c it's the epitome of aesthetically "good" music, but you really don't want it stuck in your cd player. That's how I feel about the L of R trilogy.
